En primer lugar, la postura al remar produce un ligero arco que ejerce tensi\u00f3n sobre las v\u00e9rtebras lumbares y cervicales. <\/p>\n<p>Las articulaciones del hombro tambi\u00e9n se movilizar\u00e1n con el remo y estar\u00e1n sometidas a tensiones debidas a imprevistos durante la sesi\u00f3n. El hombro se encontrar\u00e1 a veces un poco m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su amplitud articular, durante una ca\u00edda o para agarrarse a la tabla al pasar por una ola, y estos errores posicionales pueden provocar <strong>desgarros musculares<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h2>Restricciones subestimadas<\/h2>\n<p>Por supuesto, remar en s\u00ed mismo es una forma de calentamiento. Pero el surfista medio est\u00e1 excitado, impaciente por salir al mar y empezar a coger olas, as\u00ed que pronto se ve obligado <strong>a aumentar la intensidad de la remada<\/strong> y a realizar patos, un truco que ejerce mucha presi\u00f3n sobre los hombros. <\/p>\n<p>El surfista olvida otro par\u00e1metro: <strong>las sesiones de surf someten al esqueleto a tensiones de larga duraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. La mayor\u00eda de los problemas de espalda que aparecen tras diez o veinte a\u00f1os de surf podr\u00edan haberse evitado o reducido cuidando tu cuerpo, calentando, estirando y prestando atenci\u00f3n a tu dieta y estilo de vida, tanto antes como despu\u00e9s de surfear. <\/p>\n<p>Las ca\u00eddas en el agua pueden parecer de poca importancia. Sin embargo, a altas velocidades, sobre todo en olas de buen tama\u00f1o, <strong>la superficie del agua se vuelve bastante dura en el impacto<\/strong> y todas las microca\u00eddas que hagas en una larga carrera de surfista pueden acabar da\u00f1\u00e1ndote el cuello. <\/p>\n<p>El surf de alto rendimiento, que implica empujar con las piernas, implica impactos con la parte superior e inferior de la ola y somete a mucha tensi\u00f3n a <strong>las articulaciones de las rodillas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pero los surfistas principiantes, al tener los pies mal colocados sobre la tabla, tambi\u00e9n tienen que <strong>sobrecargar ciertos m\u00fasculos y ligamentos<\/strong> para compensar su desequilibrio. En cuanto al banco de arena, no es perfectamente liso y tiene variaciones de profundidad, huecos y protuberancias que sobrecargan las articulaciones. <\/p>\n<h2>Calentando hasta el final<\/h2>\n<p>Por tanto, se recomienda el calentamiento, <strong>sea cual sea el nivel del surfista<\/strong>, para preparar el cuerpo sensorial para las acciones venideras (propiocepci\u00f3n) y mejorar as\u00ed la adaptabilidad motriz. El objetivo principal es trabajar los m\u00fasculos y ligamentos de forma progresiva, para <strong>evitar distensiones, lesiones y dolores cr\u00f3nicos<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Antes de meterme en el agua o de que mis alumnos salgan, mi calentamiento se basa en gran medida en las t\u00e9cnicas <strong>del Tai Chi Chuan<\/strong>. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 lo hago? \u00bfPara comunicarme con los elementos?  <\/p>\n<p>En absoluto, aparte de observar el agua, lo que dar\u00e1 lugar a diferentes estrategias, como el lanzamiento o la gesti\u00f3n de las corrientes.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos muy pr\u00e1cticos, el taichi presta gran atenci\u00f3n a la <strong>postura y a la posici\u00f3n de las articulaciones<\/strong>. Los movimientos fortalecen los m\u00fasculos que mantienen las articulaciones en su sitio y corrigen las malas posturas. Adem\u00e1s de calentar suavemente el cuerpo, ense\u00f1a coordinaci\u00f3n antes de una actividad que requiere habilidades muy finas.  <\/p>\n<p>El aspecto de <strong>&#8220;meditaci\u00f3n en acci\u00f3n&#8221;,<\/strong> la b\u00fasqueda de una forma de paz interior en los movimientos relajados del taichi, tambi\u00e9n permitir\u00e1 al surfista mantener la calma en el tumulto del oc\u00e9ano y reaccionar adecuadamente.<\/p>\n<p>Puedes utilizar el calentamiento tradicional o inspirarte en disciplinas energ\u00e9ticas como el taichi, siempre que <strong>calientes antes de entrar en el agua<\/strong>. Tu cuerpo te lo agradecer\u00e1, tarde o temprano. <\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, tomarse tiempo para calentar demuestra cierta <strong>capacidad de autocontrol<\/strong>, a diferencia del surfista que sale corriendo de la duna, se dirige directamente al agua y se lanza a por todas las olas como un imb\u00e9cil sin importarle nada.
